Final preparations are underway for the Ideal Home Show Scotland today.. it's MASSIVE!

The catwalk stage area is getting a final lick of paint tonight, and we'll be ready to rock in the morning.. TEN fantastic shows a day, from Friday through to Monday. I'll be chatting to style and beauty experts throughout the weekend, and you'll get the chance to ask our experts all you fashion questions in our Q&A sessions.

As well as the Ideal Woman section, thats packed full of fashion, accessories and beauty retailers, there are another two halls full of home and garden goodies.

When it's cold and windy outside - it's the perfect way to spend a girly day! Shopping, makeup, fashion shows, food and drink ... wish I could do this EVERY weekend!

 The theme of our third Summer fashion shoot in Marbella was 'All White on The Night' and the perfect location for it, is my favourite Summer hang-out, the stunning Finca Besaya restaurant and nightclub. 
As we wait for sunset, model Kristina gets the finishing touches to her hair and makeup..

The pretty lanterns and the gorgeous outdoor bar area will make the perfect backdrop for our shoot...

 All done! Time for a drink to celebrate another hard day at the office! ;)

The second of our Summer fashion shoots was all about the safari trend.. so we chose this fabulous, tropical location @ The Marbella Club!

These tropical gardens are part of one of the private villas on the property - they cost £8000 per DAY to rent, so I guess you'd expect a pretty decent garden for your money!

 

 When I spotted this anicent-looking terrace, I knew it would make a stunning shot!

 

 Models loved the villa's glamorous bathrooms.. complete with gold plated taps and mirrored ceilings!

I'm thrilled to be hosting the Ideal Homes Scotland Fashion shows next weekend... alongside the gorgeous Fiona Phillips! The Ideal Home show is returning to Scotland for the first time in 3 years, and this time it's bigger and better than ever.  My first ever modelling job was for the Ideal Homes catwalk when I was just 16, so I can't wait to welcome it back in 2011!

Here's the final result of our first Summer shoot, photographed in glamorous Marbella!

Model Stephanie had the really, really  tough job of wearing skimpy bikinis and posing , on the cleanest, most luxurious beach we've ever seen!

 This is just part of the gorgeous Puro Beach complex. There are five restaurants and bars just behind the pool, as well as loads of gorgeous designer shops - Aaaaahh, can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be :)

 The finishing touches of hair and makeup are made for the first shot of the day..

Summer Shoots Marbella

It's been a busy week for the Daily Record fashion team...8 shoots in 6 days! ...and all in sunny Marbella! Finally, the last shoot is in the bag, and we have a few hours to relax by the pool before we head back to Glasgow..it's a tough life, huh!

Another Model-Bootcamp success story! Just one week after her bootcamp session, 16-yr old Ellie was booked for her very first modelling job.. and didn't she do well!

Ellie is now represented by Model Team Scotland, and has already been booked to walk in the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art fashion show this month - she's going to be a busy girl! Look out for her in future Daily Record fashion pages.
